The Professor Garfield Foundation (PGF) project team reviewed previously conducted research that focused on discovering the necessary components when mapping out curriculum units and lesson plans that are easy and useful to educators in the classroom. The research was used to create low-fidelity prototypes of a curriculum unit structure, a lesson plan structure, and a layout of the Teacher’s Resources page.

By week three of the semester, the PGF team will collaborate on and combine the necessary components from each of the individual prototypes to create a concise structure for a curriculum unit, a lesson plan, and Teacher’s Resources page. Once a prototype structure has been narrowed for each, the PGF team will then test the prototypes with in-service educators for errors or recommendations.
